Welcome to our second installment of the BASIK Chocolates Mystery Box.
Thanks to the feedback and reception received from our first Mystery Box, I spent another three months of ideating about our next dream destination — Italy.
A dream destination for many and a country I've been dreaming about visiting for years.
I can list multiple reasons that you and I have come to love about Italy, but let’s face it, we’re here for the food and more importantly for the sweet-tooth’s, chocolate, desserts and maybe a little aperitif or two to wash it all down.
I haven't been to Italy yet. This is the closest I've come to my fantasy of being there.
Everything inside this box was made because I wanted to explore and dig a little deeper with these concepts in my mind.
This will be a limited run of Thirty boxes. And I'm not telling you what's inside until it's on your doorstep.

What's Inside
Four Courses: An Aperitif Course, Two Core courses, and a medly of Snacks.
As a small hint of the direction of this box - we’re going in the direction of an Ode to the Classics alongside a few modernist interpretations.

This box is designed to be shared between 2-4 people.

Postage is separate at checkout — approximately $20 depending on your location.

Before You Purchase
To help you make an informed decision, please read the following.
Amongst the “Core courses”, some items will contain cheeses from Italy that are known to have animal rennet. There will also be a gluten (wheat) component in one of the items..
Amongst the “Medley of snacks courses”, a variety of nuts that include pistachios, hazelnuts, macadamias & almonds. In addition, other ingredients & allergens that will be included are alcohol, egg whites & gluten (wheat).
The "Aperitif” will have traces of alcohol but they are cooked over an extended period of time, so it is likely to be minimal.

Delivery & Timeline
With the variety of categories and the complexity of this Mystery box, we are looking at a six (6) week timeline to delivery.
Our first wave of shipments will commence on 12th October 2026.
Once dispatched you will receive a tracking number. Estimated transit: 1–3 business days within Australia.
Orders are packed with thermal lining and ice packs to maintain temperature in transit.
