Welcome to the BASIK Chocolates “How to Order” Guide & Frequently Asked Questions

BASIK Chocolates Online Store has one (1) non-membership/subscription product available as a monthly selection of chocolate bonbons.

Each month, we curate a selection of three (3) flavours & combinations based on a theme/inspiration/concept. Each chocolate box contains nine (9) chocolate bonbons – 3 of each flavour.

Our focus and passion is showcasing the wonders of chocolate by stretching the boundaries of flavour combinations. Each flavour combination featured in a monthly selection has three (3) tiers of complexity (Tier 1, 2, 3).

This may be based on the type of ingredients featured, the layers or the types of chocolate bonbons featured such as pralines, truffles, caramels or a combination of them.


How to Stay Up to Date?

We recommend subscribing to our email notifications.

We currently run three (3) emails a month to notify our chocoholics of a pre-order, order shipping and if there any leftover monthly chocolate sets available.

Ordering Schedule

The first Wednesday of each month, an email notification goes out to all email subscribers. This allows email subscribers and any visitors a chance to pre-order that month’s selections. The pre-order period ends on the Sunday of that week.

Shipment of your chocolate orders will commence on the following Monday.

As a rule of thumb, we do our best to stick to a Monday-Wednesday cycle for all postage of orders to avoid any potential delays.

We will continue shipment of orders on this schedule until sold out. We are a small operation & we run a strictly limited supply each month. This helps us maintain our quality and standards for production as well as avoiding food & materials waste.


Additional Shipping Information

We ship all orders with Australia Post via Express Post.

Since our products are perishable, a great deal of care is taken to pack your orders with sufficient protection to ensure their safe arrival.

All orders are packed with a thermal insulated mailer pouch & with an icepack. During the summer periods, two (2) icepacks are included.


Chocolates Melted/Damaged?

We aim to please and despite our own measures to pack your chocolates safely, delays with shipping do occur and accidents do happen.

As such, all we require from you is a photo upon arrival that clearly shows the damaged order. We will coordinate with Australia Post through their complaints process.

You will be offered two options, a full-refund or a replacement of your order.
